Each week, I will pick National Football League (NFL) games against the spread. Below is a recap of my picks from last week, along with my picks for this week.

Last Week

I had a good week. I picked two out of three games correctly. I guessed the exact score for the game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts. I was one point off the score for the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills game. It looks like I am warming up. My overall record now stands at 8-9. Here are my picks for this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) at Arizona Cardinals (1-4); Line: Steelers by 3 1/2

The Steelers are a better team than the Cardinals. Statistically speaking, the Steelers are better both offensively and defensively. The Cardinals have won just one game this season. That was against the 1-5 Carolina Panthers. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had an off week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. But I expect him to play well against the Cardinals. Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 146 yards against the Jaguars. The Steelers will use a balanced offensive attack to win the game. Pick: Steelers -3 1/2. Steelers 27, Cardinals 20.

Green Bay Packers (6-0) at Minnesota Vikings (1-5); Line: Vikings by 8

The Packers are the best team in the NFL. They are simply on another level. The Vikings are not even a playoff team. This has all the makings of a lopsided game. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have a field day against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. The Vikings have struggled passing the ball. Now they have a quarterback controversy. This will be a comfortable win for the Packers. Pick: Packers -8 1/2. Packers 31, Vikings 20.

St. Louis Rams (0-5) at Dallas Cowboys (2-3); Line: Cowboys by 12

The Cowboys have had an up and down season so far. Their troubles start with the erratic play of quarterback Tony Romo. The Rams have a quarterback problem of their own. Sam Bradford has a high ankle sprain. His status for this game is uncertain. The Cowboys should win this game as long as they get out of their own way. They need to protect the ball and limit penalties. The Cowboys will win the game but 12 points is too much. Pick: Rams +12. Cowboys 27, Rams 17.

The first burglary happened between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 9. A resident called to report items stolen, according to Hyman.
